About

Offline Arcade started as a group chat between four friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games we found on long commutes. We got tired of installing apps that turned out to be useless without Wi-Fi, so we decided to keep notes. Those notes became a website.

The idea is simple. We only cover games that genuinely work without internet, and we play them properly before reviewing. No press release rewriting, no five-minute glances. If a game claims to be offline but nags you to reconnect every two minutes, we say so.

We pick titles across every genre — role-playing, puzzles, racing, simulation, strategy. Some come from reader tips, some we find by digging through store listings on quiet weekends. The only rule is that they have to hold up when the signal drops.

The site is independent. We're not tied to any studio and we don't take payment to publish reviews. What you read is what we thought after living with the game for a while.
